Suggested Dosage: 2 to 4 capsules daily given in divided doses or as suggested by your health care practitioner*. This supplement can be taken once daily, or throughout the day, with or without meals. Suggested dosages for magnesium are:
Age 1-4 | 125 – 250mg/day |
Age 5-10 | 250 – 400mg/day |
Age 10+ | 500+ mg/day |
*It is advisable to begin dosing magnesium with less than a full dose and work up to a full dose over the period of one week. If loose stools and/or diarrhea appear, reduce the dosage until bowel movements normalize.
