Historical Antecedent: Pinellia Decoction to Drain the Epigastrium

Chinese Action: Harmonizes the Stomach, downbears Qi counterflow, disperses glomus and eliminates focal distension

Indications (symptoms):
Epigastric focal distension, fullness and tightness with very little or no pain
Dry heaves
Vomiting
Borborygmus with diarrhea
Reduced appetite
This formula can be helpful for such conditions as gastroenteritis, chronic gastritis, early-stage cirrhosis, and indigestion or gastric ulcers due to hypersecretion of acid

1-2 tablets, 2-3 times daily (recommended for adults)

Dried ginger root
Chinese skullcap root
Black jujube fruit
White Asian ginseng root
White Asian ginseng tail
Coptis rhizome
Honey-fried Chinese licorice

Plus 50 mg excipients & binders:
silicon dioxide (glidant/dehydrant), stearic acid (lubricant/binder), microcellulose (coating)
