Kirkman® offers a unique water soluble curcumin, CurcuWIN™ (containing 20% curcuminoids) ingredient, in its new Curcumin/Tumeric Root Extract (275 mg) that makes this product highly bioavailable.

Curcumin is the ingredient in the turmeric root that offers excellent health benefits. In fact, the turmeric root has been harvested as a health remedy in many parts of the world, dating back to 2000 B.C. Turmeric (also known as curry) is part of the ginger family and has a deep, vibrant yellow color when used in supplements or in cooking.
Tumeric is still a staple in Indian and Asian dishes but extracts of turmeric yield a compound far exceeding the content of the common spice.

More recently, research regarding curcumin has exploded. Researchers have confirmed that this ingredient works on multiple pathways at multiple levels of those pathways all simultaneously.
